We had fairly cold, cloudy, windy weather for our first match of 2026. The wind started before we started setting up, and never really stopped, and it definitely affected the scores. It never really warmed up any either, although it finally did clear up some and get somewhat sunny, which added some mirage to make things that much more challenging. It was a day where good scores were something to be proud of.
After the regular match we shot an individual money match, with about 2/3rd of our shooters participating. Conditions were not really any better than during the regular match.
We were happy to see a couple of new shooters, including a new junior shooter, Lilly Becherer. Our new shooters shot well for their first match, especially given the conditions.
Thanks to everyone who attended, especially on a cold, windy day, and to everyone who helped set up, take down, and run the match.
